Hello, Jason here. So we made a few updates to Happy Wheels. Let me tell you about them using words. Here I go!
We've added new vocals to the Moped Couple and Lawnmower Man. I did the voice of Moped Guy and friends of ours did the vocals for Moped Girl and Lawnmower Man. Screaming as if you're being torn in half is pretty cathartic. I recommend it.
You can now quickly load levels or replays from the main menu by pressing "Load level/replay" and entering a valid URL. To find a URL, browse to that level. In pink you'll see the URL. Copy it and share it with friends and loved ones. Now you won't have to refresh the entire page to view a level someone sends you.
In the editor, you can now adjust the "center cutout" of circles to create donut-like shapes. This is helpful for wheels with spokes. However, this is only a visual change. Cirlce shapes are still solid. That is a requirement of the physics engine.
The force character bug should now be fixed. We are aware of a couple other bugs that we're working on.
Also, you can now chat with other users by clicking here. If the applet is full, you can join the IRC channel #happywheels on irc.rizon.net. A free IRC client can be downloaded at http://code.google.com/p/xchat-wdk/.

I do believe you can still use "Buildings," yes? Or make one box of any color, put a few little Blue boxes on it, put a triangle on top and presto? OR use the polygon tool? Non-Interactive? Gives you 50 sides before it runs out which is plenty for details? My point is, a "house" object is just about as pointless as another Father character. Even Pedobear would agree!

Yay, I'm not classified as a "n00b!" :D ...Although most of my levels rank from Hard to nearly impossible, all of the obstacles ARE possible. (I just like making hard levels.)

True, even though you haven't been here for a long time you act pretty respectful and don't try to complain about a flaw in the new updates like everyone who comes through here does. But man, im starting to lose inspiration in making levels yet again, it's cause there's to many shitty levels being made and all creativity has been lost. It used to be fine like 4 weeks ago, but now since it's mostly, sword throw, rope swing, torture room (or saw) or even obstacle courses now (cause "Mean Person") got his featured and other people think there's will get featured as well. MetallicDoom, I will attempt to get through your level so you can do with whatever you please to do with it, then I'll finish my Prince Of Persia one. Cause seeing multiple shitty levels being published is just pathetic and it's making me lose inspiration and new things to create.

I think the only reason I'd make a rope swing is if it had more original graphics (Example: Real rope, not blue blocks) or one that uses something other than bottles, TV's, etc. (As I stated earlier about my idea for a rope.) for a rope. But even then I have no idea. Now, for Sword Throws, it's over. they're dead and bait for bad ratings, although noobs rate 5 Stars because they told them too. And SAW, the original one was good, but the copies were mostly crap on a stick. Fortunately, there are people like you, general Ford and others whom are trying to get creativity back. Anywho, good luck everybody on their levels. I too am trying to get another level out. (Yes, I spew them out quickly, but I at least TRY to get quality out of them, and I am taking advantage of the 1-a-day system where I publish a level, start working on one.) Sorry for the long post.

hay Jim i gots an idea put the chat back in.....BUT! enbed it on to the game screen and make a bot moderater to bann ppl who spam. that would be better then opening up a differant window and an option to hide the chat box.!

I agree. When the importing stopped, good levels started coming in until about now. Then it started going to 'moderate' again. I too am also loosing some inspiration like others. Seriously, the only level Thats inspiring is the "Backyard wrestling". Just so much time put into that. And while Shitty levels are being made, I'm in the editor making half a level then not knowing what to do next due to the lack of inspiration. Then I Just ditch that level and start making another. I mean, it is very hard to make a level that's completely original or without seeing something. Its just like saying you have to make something while except you have only been inside a huge metal box for your whole life. You can't or haven't seen anything. And Thats sort of happening now. But right now, Theres still something inside and I'm able to continue to make a few levels.

Indeedy. The only think that keeps me motivated are 1. THE RAAAAGE and 2. my Kaizo series. I mean really. Usually only when I'm bored to I make a "Santa's Hat" or "The Boring Minigame" like level. If I think it turned out decent in editor, I put a bit more art (If needed or is not a "test" level for the public) and if it's still good, I release it. Although, I will admit that a level showing the Lawnmower Man wheel glitch inspired me for "Lawnmower in the Sky." Anywho. I have to go for the night. holy fuck my pc is out dated as fuck i can barely read what you say(i usually use the laptop but i had to finish my homework so i needed the family pc) @luigi dont believe in 2012 one it would be stupid cause austalia or newzealand would reach 21/12/2012 first and usa last so by the time its 21 in usa it'll be 22nd in new zealand but what do i know im just 14!

I Think a WHOLE CRAZY BIG DAY is NOT worth to try to upload a new level !!! Why not make it 3 hours or something like that??? Oh about bad levels, can you make it so that any level with 100 plays or lower are deleted after a week ? Then you would have less bad level. You know what i mean right ? I Also think you should have a zoom out option,i know people like making a one place view so then make the area you see biger ! Also, do you think you could make it so you can change the color of the main player ? It would be very cool. You could put it in the top right part of the character select option ! VERY cool hazard idea ! Make [b]heat seeking missile [/b] !!! You Could use the same "follow" Option like the homing mine, but make it a missile + add more speed ! Like that idea ? [i]Over all, this is a few of all the ideas i can think of in just a few mins [/i]

You might say "Oh, well he or she can still vote on his or her own level..." Well, if Jim were to, WERE TO, add this feature, he'd likely disable voting on own levels, as it IS possible to rate your own levels (I just started a Happy Wheels disease...)... 3. No. Just no. "Oh hey, it's a good level, let's look at the mechanics! AND the background! That way he has to waste either art or objects so we don't see the background!" If you want that, just suggest a "camera," where it automatically zooms to where you place the "zone." It'd make a lot more sense at the very least, but it is still a bad idea. 4. ...No. I have no problem with the colors and neither should you. Plus, it's even more pointless when I don't see a million comments/levels complaining about Irresponsible Dad's blue shirt. (Not like I'd support it THEN...) 5. No. It's pointless. It's called a downloadable Screen Recorder. FRAPS, Camstudio, etc. USE THEM. Either way, you'd need a YouTube account.
