Hello everyone (this is Jason). Here's that news post that everyone has been asking about.
First off, we've added Pogostick Man. All of you know this. As you might guess, he rides a pogo stick. Thanks to Nova for providing vocals. Now when he plays Happy Wheels, he can scream with himself. And the internet becomes a bit less lonely of a place. Some of you have asked about having other YouTube gamers record vocals. We're not really planning on doing that. A male voice was needed and Nova, who happens to have a fairly unique voice, mentioned interest. We'll most likely go and record a bunch of new voices soon. The next character vocals are most likely female.
Pressing up/down moves Pogostick Man forward/backward with small jumps. Holding space bar results in a big jump. Pressing shift makes him stand upright on the pogo stick and control makes him crouch. Some of his joints are stronger than other characters which allow him to land big jumps without breaking to pieces. Once ejected, his joints are normal strength.
The response to Pogostick Man has been pretty incredible, but this of course has resulted in a trend of unoriginal wall-jumping levels which has polluted the level browser. Please make original levels.
Second, we have exceeded ONE MILLION Facebook 'likes'. Hitting this mark was never expected. In fact, we originally were hoping for 5000 (Jim: "we did?"). And of course we talked about doing something for this event, but then planned poorly and missed it. So the surprise is that there was no surprise. We will eventually post some awesome pictures of the socks that Jim bought. Or we won't. We know you love the suspense. Thanks to everyone who clicked 'like'.
Third, the development of the forums is on hold. We estimated it would be done by now, but then something came up.
Forth, things are a bit slow right now because Jim is incarcerated in Thailand, but I assure you we're always working on something and there are a lot of things to come.

Nice to see the positive support for my idea. And look, another page plagued with noobs! That challenge I set a while ago of having one page without a noob commenting is so far failing. Mine has almost 15,000 plays...mehehe. K, we ought to stop flaming LW and his levels. Trust me, I'd rather play his levels than 90% of other levels by n00bs. So lets call it quits.

uh i have a question i got offline to eat and when i get back on i have no levels only the one i was working on it was on my screen there r none no more where did they go i did a test i saved the level on my screen and it worked help me i need my levels i will die with out them

Sorry that I came back at an unexpected time in this chat (mixed up topics that people talk about in here). But, views are not important. Well to a point they are (it depends how many views you have gotten like 50K+ or more to feel achieved) even though you get low views, the levels that people create on the originality, the details, the gameplay, the storyline/fun. That is what creates the better levels, views are just like youtube on how many people see it. But the categories I mentioned is what really matters.

I haven't worked on this level I'm making in a while, I've been working on it for nearly a year, but damn is it detailed! The vehicle I made is super detailed, and lots of vehicles in the top played are damn rectangles with 2 circles!

I admit that I don't know a thing about box2d or Flash altogether, but I doubt that 99% of us know either. Look at other box2d games and compare them to Happy Wheels. In fact, even Angry Birds, a box2d game, doesn't compare to Happy Wheels. I may be wrong, but I think EVERY item in this game was made with box2d. The spring platform. The homing mine. The body parts and the characters we love to see do epic stunts. So please, PLEASE, think of the effort that was put into the characters before you make a suggestion. So, for people that called 'Pogostick Man' shitty, it's like getting a 99% on an exam and your parents saying it's a shitty grade. Must be my longest comment ever. Wow. I may message this to some n00bs...

I can also assure that line will be ignored and noobs will continue to beg. Remember, noobs don't actually know there's more pages. Well, what's going on here. Still new people trying to make gay suggestions. Hey it's fine as long as I'm not in here having to type to some ignorant fucking kid that won't understand it's fine by me that you guys go to the rescue and stop him and whatnot. But for now, I decided to just avoid this havoc going on around the news thread. Meh, Happy Wheels is still kind of boring as is. Shitty levels are still being made from people having no creativity shoved up their asses, yet they get really great views, which I'm not surprised that Happy Wheels is now almost completely filled with not even pre-teen'ed children. I am amazed, Happy Wheels needs to return back to the way it used to be from the times of Mid September 2010- Late May 2011. Those were the fun times that Happy Wheels has got it's glory. But now since this site got more famous, little kids just decide to play Happy Wheels causing more children based minded levels. More simple levels, bad ratings on hard creative levels. And yet, this problem isn't fixed. I don't know why's that. New Era Of Happy Wheels. I completely dislike it. That's why I rarely get on this anymore. Just children overpopulating this game is a shame. That's all I got to say. I will be releasing a new level, but I will just avoid the news threads, it's really pathetic on how many people complain about something so simple in this chat.
