Ok, the new update is up (but not entirely finished). With Thailand jail and the length of time this took, it's actually been a long while since my last update to the game. Sorry about that.
The update is a new tool that you can use to trigger events during gameplay. The player rides through a trigger area, and various things are activated. Right now you can either activate an object or play a sound.
In most cases, activating an object is waking it up if it's in a sleeping state. Certain special items have more useful activations. Mines will explode and boosts and fans will turn on. You currently cannot decide what the activation will be; you are given a default action. I will change that with a future update... I ran out of time and only thought of it halfway through developing. It'd be cool if rather than just waking up a shape, you could make it appear, disappear, set it to a fixed or non-fixed state, give it a certain velocity, fade in/out, blah blah blah.
If you choose to play a sound effect instead, you don't attach the trigger to any other objects. You just select the sound, and set the volume and panning. With proper use of delay, you can probably make some horrible songs from various screams. Now you can hear "oh my leg!" until it's unbearable (if it's not already).
I do plan on adding ambient sounds but ran out of time today. I will work on that first thing next week. Going through various sound libraries and setting up loops is longer and more tedious than expected.

Hiya Jim! I think there should be a freedraw tool that works like the poly tool but can easily make curves rather than what the polygon tool can do.

Why can't you play? What intro? If you use really short lines then it will look curved with the poly tool.

@girahim87, if you weren't such a moron, you'd realise it's REQUIRED in the Box2D Physics Engine that the circle have a full collision. And those 'hamster ball' levels are repetitive crap, so you can't say it will 'give you the level idea' as it isn't an idea. I bet 95% of people here don't know what Box2D is, WHAT HAS THIS SITE BECOME!?!? Star Wars is a copyrighted franchise, JIM CAN'T USE ANYTHING RELATED TO COPYRIGHT. I see no hope for these noobs in the future.

I don't know where to go to report a bug, so I'll just post it here. Whenever a floating mine explodes on me, it either causes me to win the level, or it freezes my character in place.

The update is shit i aint gonna say sorry or anything a TRIGGER TOOL ? Really who wanted that ? i mean its okay but MORE STUFF like Cars,Unplayable characters,more buildings,backgrounds,dogs and cats animals more weapons i mean the stuff i see on here is shit you can barely make a level with the misc tool once again i dont care if i get banned from this website for saying this but the UPDATE isn't really a udpate its called DOWN RATING the game why would someone use a trigger tool JIM BONNACI you must have lots of people working for you and you bring us this ? People that make cool levels have to tell you character ideas ? No offence but you kinda suck....Hm a pogo stick guy ? i was hoping for A crazy clown or something good but really you need to put your act together and why start next week ? this is a important game to people not like a piece of crap that people hate IF ANYONE AGREES WITH ME MESSAGE ME AND WE CAN WORK TOGETHER TO DO STUFF JIM BONNACI FIX IT.

@ARKIN ATTLA, You clearly don't get it do you? Jim DID put hard work into it to make the trigger tool. You clearly do't know how hard it is to make characters and other updates. Characters are by far the hardest to make. Sereously the trigger tool can allow you to make better levels. So you want a crazy clown eh? So do you you think you can program it yourself and put in the voices and all the other things? That's what I thought. Your parents clearly spoil you with you wanting characters and not other updates that will make better levels. Let me tell you that when happy wheels first came out there were only [b][i][u]4[/u][/i][/b] characters! And you want more!? Jim does realize this is important and he does work hard on it. Look closely into the items and look at every single little detail. You see it actually is very detailed and he put a lot of hard work into it. How old are you anyway 10? When you get older you will either be a hobo or you will realize how much work Jim puts into it. I think lots of people wanted the trigger tool and now enjoy it. Why don't you make a tool yourself in the editor and see how hard it is hm? I don't think you'll even see this because I bet you don't even know there's more pages. Whatever I'll message you with this.

ARKIN ATTILA assumes Jim has hundreds of people working for him and that clowns on unicycles or something is better than major bug fixes and great tools. Oh well, kids will never learn to appreciate work put in by others. He needs to realise Jim and Jason are the only ones who do the Flash developing for the game. Think of Happy Wheels as an Indie Flash game with a couple of workers making it [b]FOR FREE[/b], you hear that? [b]FOR FREE[/b]. Jim can put anything he wants in the game, it's [i]his[/i] game, and is nice enough to offer it free of charge. You want some shitty clown character? Donate and help Jim out. He must be new to the Internet, judging by his poor use of grammar and how he assumes that whatever he wants in the game is what will only be added. The world doesn't work like that kid, people think different things, and don't automatically know what you're thinking and making it. So much failure in his post. But he won't see this, doesn't matter, at the end of the day we can all be glad he'll be living homeless on the street. Imagine him at a job interview: "I want to sit around on my ass all day and not work, I don't want to have to work, but you better pay me for working here as I want to sit down all day".

YOU NEEEED TO READ THIS !!! I think you should add more rides like cars dirt bikes and new and cool characters. tou should make an evil kanevil biker person or a skateboarder that can ollie or someone sitting in a rolling tire or just a persone that can run and jump and a unicicle man or a kid sitting in a wagon with a dog pulling it... i hope you could think about adding some of these characters
