User maverfax, a young Mr. Robert Herman, has contacted me and has been working to fix the backend problems and sitewide php issues out of the kindness of his heart.
I am extremely grateful, so please send some appreciation his way. So far, he has given us the ability to makes posts on the forums, bbcode on all posts, and has very possibly fixed the site cookie issues. That would mean a lot less level/replay saving problems. I don't believe him just yet but we'll see.

well, if it helps, im running Ubuntu 10.04 x64 on a dual core Turion AMD processor, and using firefox to play.

yes, i am aware. i have in intel processor on a pc. so far everyone i've asked who has created a replay that is listed as accurate but is not, is on an amd processor. someone using an amd processor would also see the majority of replays, which were created on intel windows machines, as slightly off. it's been hard to me to isolate what the problem is when i only have one computer to work with. most of the time the inaccuracies between processors are detected. this case seems to be the exception.

um, maybe its just me, but the replays arent always the same... im guessing that all the replay does is record the buttons pressed, and autoplays the level with the recorded buttons. ive noticed that the replays are different on different systems. the buttons are all the same, but sometimes the person dies, and the buttons are still being pressed, like the person playing actually won, but the replay does not reflect this. anyway, if you can understand my rambling, i though i would bring this to your attention.

it registers collisions... i just had to make the way things were being handled more efficient. i also had to stop being a lazy tard

Yeah, that's all Jim is doing. The problem is, the game that we have right now on totalkjerface.com doesn't register collisions. So Jim needs to make a collision system first, before he can actually put sounds in... which is why it's taking him so long to do.

The problem is, our hosters somehow managed to find a way to not accept cookies if the browser was closed. We contacted them, but they're feigning ignorance. Hey, you forgot about the other stuff I did... like personal information editor, the replay and level deleter, the admin system, the edit and delete comments system, the revamp of the sidebar, the smileys, and the breadcrumbs on the forums. Sheesh :P
