After a week of hell, some good changes have been made to the backend of the site. The level browser should be much faster, and hopefully the site won't die during peak hours. We'll see today if it runs well (fridays are busiest). If so, I should be able to work on the game again and not the goddamn database. Still, there are more optimizations to be made. In any case, the site has been having problems for more than a month... so if it works out I will be quite happy.
Apparently the addition of npcs or the harpoon gun caused a replay glitch. So I have to fix that next... it might ruin some previous replays. Sorry about that.
After that... everyone seems to like driving through glass, so I will make a legitimate breakable glass shape. I should have more breakable items. That should be fast. I'd also like to eventually make a terrain tool, which would be really helpful. However, the outrage for new characters is reaching obnoxious levels, so I will work on those instead.
I made a shirt design for the game here. Colors had to be limited to 6. I already asked on the facebook page, but what shirt would you choose? The overwhelming favorite there was the first one. I personally like the 5th. I imagine some of you very macho men will not tolerate the use of pink on your clothing. If all works out well, a shirt will go on sale on Newgrounds soon.

I know people have said this before, but when you press Z or Shift or whatever, it would be freakin epic if they could walk/run around. But do whatever you want, keep working on glass and stuff. Good job!

I don't care about people all I want is new level items Jim maybe you could add music or imported music,also more themes like ice or lava or the sky and also weather like rain and clouds and lighting etc. but I don't think slow motion would really be good because some people at making levels aren't that good (noobs). So you could be playing a very long level in slow motion but still an ok idea.

I understand the demand for new characters and level settings are high. I also understand the game programming proccess. But I do have a few suggestions for characters and level settings. Character: 1. A hobo in a shopping cart 2. Santa on his sleigh 3. a nerd on a moped 4. A girl in a wagon 5. A cowboy on a horse 6. A person in a hamster ball 7. A clown running on a ball 8. A kid on roller blades pulled by a dog 9. A fat guy in an office chair 10. A fat guy on a lawn mower Level Settings: 1. Zero Gravity 2. Optional Dimesions 3. Slow Motion 4. Breakable Glass 5. More building types 6. Explodable Cars 7. Water 8. Turrain Builder 9. Fire 10. More block peices So once again I understand the game making proccess and I know that a bunch of people are expecting things right now. But I'm sure if you take most of the suggestions people would be very satified. So thank you for your time.

I got google chrome and your site has been working fine until today I haven't downloaded any thing new so I don't know why it wont work as good-[u][/u][b]problem[/b]: it works just when I open a new tab it's very slow at opening the page

Hey man i love your Happy wheels game but i was thiking maybe you should take a break from makeing a bunch of updates and just make a new charater. (id say a new character a month or maybe every 2 months should cover it).

I don't want to suck up all your time Jim, so u can make this later on or so...Please add a Jamican man with BLACK dredlocks and will disappear after the head is crushed, also if he could be in a RED go-cart that will explode when crushed or blown by land-mine,etc.If he could also be in a BLACK tank-top and DARK GREEN cargo shorts, only showing 1 pocket. Also if the charicter name could be:Go Kart Man: or something. "other charecter": A young girl like the (male) kid exept as an N.P.C. (non-playable charicter). With Moped Wife hair while in a PURPLE skirt and a PINK short sleeve shirt. Hope u liked my ideas and its your choise if u want to add them later after your other updates or as soon as possible, i dont really care its all up to u. Thanks,killerkitten107. make rope, not characters. not phsyched for breakable glass. also dont make a skateboarder, the characters have to fit the original form: inept and awkward. your last 2 sucked and were really slow and boring to control, not good playing characters but still funny. my vote still goes to multiplayer, can you imagine? charge a buck for membership and make a quick couple grand. JIM READ THIS PLEASE, I SPELL SUPER GOOD

@No Reward I'm assuming it is because if he is limited to six colors, I f he makes the shirt pink he can also put pink in the happy wheels text bit, to make it closer to what the "Happy Wheels" text in the main menu looks like. -C4Radon You know what the call a royal wit' cheese?
